My teaching interests include anthropological theory and methods as well as thematic courses in environmental issues and Japan. I have taught the Anthropology of Climate, Environmental Anthropology, the Anthropology of Conservation, and the Social Ecology of Food. I also teach an introductory anthropology class, a class on contemporary ethnographies, the undergraduate anthropology capstone class, and a graduate level methods & research design class.
